Study Highlights Need for Expanded APRN Training Programs
The shortage of health care providers could more than double by 2025 if the training of advanced practice nurses and physician assistants doesn't exceed current projections and provider residency programs are not expanded, according to a report in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons.
